A new beginning, a new website, a new blog post

There are moments, like a pause between two breaths, when everything seems to settle down. Now is one of those moments. I feel like the stars are aligning, and what I want finally meets what is right.

I have refinished some of the sculptures from The Walnut Story and I know that now they are what I need. This last stage in completing the sculptures is difficult and satisfying, it brings out the texture and releases the warmth of the wood, the entire Walnut Story finally emerges, after all the work, patience and dialogue with the material. A story about life and rebirth sculpted from a single tree, carved directly in the very place where it grew.

A new website that I worked on more than a professional, but which I made to my liking and which perfectly reflects my style and values. It is not perfect, but it is mine. Every detail, from colors to fonts, was carefully chosen, not according to strict UX rules, but according to intuition, taste and... a lot of coffee.

Sometimes, a beginning is just a continuation. So a short post is all it takes.
